The Enchantment Project

The Enchantment Project is a collaboration between PLEA and School District 43 that endeavors to provide high school graduates in need with formal attire so that they can attend their graduation festivities with pride. Without such assistance these students could not afford to participate in celebrating this important milestone.

Gently used grad dresses are gratefully accepted at any Tri-Cities High School (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody) during the months of November through January.

Although many of the services we need to deliver this initiative (such as seam-stressing, hairdressing, make-up and photography services) are provided free of charge by individuals and businesses in the area, we do also gratefully accept cash donations. The money we raise pays to store the dresses and tuxes in the run up to the event, to cover any dry cleaning costs and to pay for refreshments for the evening. Our fundraising target is $5000.
